On September 13th, 14th and 15th Indaba X will be hosting an event dubbed Southbank Centre’s Africa Utopia Festival, dedicated to celebrating and showcasing Black culture. It will feature cultural leaders, trailblazers and innovators engaged in panel discussions, workshops, music, comedy and more.

The musical segment, scheduled for Friday the 13th, will see hip-hop artist Talib Kweli and others hitting the stage between 19:00 and 23:00 at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, London.

On Friday, October 25th, Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) will celebrate the 20 year anniversary of what is arguably one of his biggest record to date, “Black on Both Sides.” The artist will be having a major concert at the Greek Theatre-U.C., located at 2001 Gayley Road in Berkeley, CA.

In addition to a live performance from Yasiin Bey, who will be doing all the songs from the album, there will also be performances from other iconic artists, namely: Erykah Badu, Slick Rick, Souls Of Mischief and DJ Big Von.
