As part of Raptology’s commitment to discover new talents in the Rap Industry, they are holding monthly online contests in the following 3 categories:

  1. Rap Song Of The Month
  2. Rap Video Of the Month
  3. Rap Cover Art Of The Month

Rap Song of the Month

1. Anybody can enter the online Rap Song of the Month competition, as long as submitted content is original and complies with basic copyright rules. You may apply as a solo, duo or group.

2. No auto tune or voice editing of any kind will be accepted.

3. Lyrics and Beats must be original.

4. In order to enter the “Rap Song Of The Month” online contest, email them the song (click on the button “Submit a Song”  below).

5. Winners of the online competition will be announced on September 30th 2020 via Raptology’s IG, FB and Website and receive their Exclusive Promo Package for free ($500 value; includes Video or Written Interview; Press Release creation and distribution;  Radio Station plays; and a chance to go on a concert tour to Europe).

Rap Music Video of the Month

1. Anybody can enter the Rap Music Video of the Month online contest, as long as submitted content is original and complies with basic copyright rules. You may apply as a solo, duo or group.

2. Lyrics and Beats of the contest submission must be original.

3. The Video should be of good quality (clear and non-pixelated, with quality audio)

4. In order to enter the “Rap Music Video Of The Month” online contest, send a video link (click on the button “Submit a Music Video”  below).

5. Winners of the online rap video contest will be announced on September 30th, 2020 via Raptology’s IG, FB and Website and receive our Exclusive Promo Package for free ($500 value; includes Video or Written Interview; Press Release creation and distribution;  Placement on our YouTube channel; and a chance to go on a concert tour to Europe).

Rap Cover Art of the Month

1. Anybody can enter the Rap Cover Art of the Month contest.

2. Artwork must be original.

3. In order to enter “Rap Cover Art Of The Month” online contest, email them the Cover Art (click on the button “Submit a Cover Art”  below).

4. Winners of the online Competition will be announced on September 30th, 2020 via Raptology’s IG, FB and Website and receive our Exclusive Promo Package for free ($300 value; includes permanent placement on our social media with author contact info).

Rapsody, NAS and Other MCs Will Be Featured On ‘Rap Life Live’ This Friday (@rapsody @Nas)

One of the most anticipated hip-hop events scheduled for this week is ‘Rap Life Live.’ It will be available via Apple Music on Friday, September 18th at 7PM PT.

The program, which was captured at Howard University features performances from Lil Baby, Rapsody, NAS and Wale.

The Mike Epps Hip-Hop Party, which will premiere on October 9th, brings together several iconic artists from the golden age of hip-hop for a night of extraordinary performances and an appreciation for the culture.

On Tuesday, September 22nd , Dave Mays – the man behind The Source Magazine and Awards – and Bakari Kitwana – author of the bestselling book The Hip-Hop Generation – will present the first ever Hip-Hop Political Education Summit.

The event, which will stream live on the REVOLT network, will focus on providing life-saving information to the hip-hop community, preparing them for their role in transforming policy and building political power.

Some of the leading names in hip-hop will be on hand, namely: Chuck D, Big Daddy Kane, 9th Wonder, Damon Dash, Bun B, DJ Envy and many more.

Lecrae‘s latest album, “Restoration,” released at the end of August, is truly an inspirational body of work. The artist gives us fourteen tracks, each taking us on its own unique journey in terms of the story it tells, the message it gives and the lyrical flow.

Restoration” is labelled as a hip-hop / gospel album and Lecrae uses it to explain how Christ has restored him, as he battles with all the negativity associated with being rich and famous.

Wyclef Jean Will Perform Live At The Apollo On Sept. 9th (@wyclef)

On Wednesday, September 9th, Grammy award-winning artist Wyclef Jean will open the Apollo Theater’s Fall season with a special virtual concert streamed live from the legendary Apollo stage. The show, which is being presented in partnership with ADCOLOR, is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM ET.

This historic performance will bring the iconic Apollo experience to audiences everywhere and mark Wyclef’s first-ever, complete performance of his Grammy-nominated, Double Platinum album, The Carnival.
