Marsha Wade Releases “Rise” & Announces Upcoming Jan. 28 Concert

Soet and gospel recording artist Marsha Wade started 2023 focused on doing all she can for the kingdom of God. She has shared a brand new single titled Rise, made a guest appearance at the popular Genesis Praise Festival, and announced Soetry and a Concert, scheduled for January 28.

Rise, the new release which is done in her unique style – a combination of singing and poetry, called  soetry – encourages listeners to stand up and claim their God given purpose, regardless of what they’re confronted with. Shared via Liberty Music RMW, an imprint operated by her and her husband, Rise has already captured the attention of some selectors who are captivated by this new genre.

Also, after realizing that she is literally spearheading an original musical category, Wade was motivated to create a platform for emerging gospel artists. To that end, she will host Soetry and a Concert on Saturday, January 28. As the name implies, this is a gospel event that will feature performances by Christian singers, chanters, soets, deejays, poets etc. Additional information about this show will be shared in the coming days.

That said, one of the best renditions is the Crystal Nicole and Q Parker remix, subtitled Hush. If you have not yet heard it, click here or on the image above to check it out; and remember to like, come and share.
