VaShawn Mitchell’s 48/25 Celebration

American gospel singer and songwriter VaShawn Mitchell, who has produced several Stellar Award-winning projects and songs for Grammy winners Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Smokie Norful, will celebrate both his 48th birthday and his twenty-five-year music legacy at an event aptly called 48/25 Celebration.

Although his actual birthday is on November 19, the affair will be on Saturday, November 16 at Greenwood Oasis (7621 S. Greenwood Avenue) in Chicago, Illinois. Carey & Sharilyn Sayles’ Album Launch & Concert

Christian power couple Carey and Sharilyn Sayles will be launching their album, His Goodness, on Saturday, November 2nd, at the Swallowfield Chapel in Kingston, Jamaica.

Presented by their own Sayles International Music Ministry, the event will also double as a gospel concert that will feature performances by Sister Pat, Hilkaiah Jones, Dennis Rushton, Osanna Praise, Humble, and others. It will be hosted by comedian and TV personality Ian ‘Ity’ Ellis.

“Shout” With Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee, & Others In Memphis On Nov. 8th

Children Sing Productions, in association with Southaven Honda, present “Shout,” a celebration of gospel with some of the best in the business. There will be performances by Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor John P. Kee, Lisa Knowles-Smith, and the Cordova High School Choir.

The event will be staged at the First Baptist Church, which is located at 2835 Broad Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, on Friday, November 8th. Tickets start at US$45, and they can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Efizzy Nite Pt. 2 Will Be On October 6th

If you are a believer based in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and you were not able to attend day one of this year’s Efizzy concert, then you are in luck. Part two will be presented on Sunday, October 6th, at House of Praise (3105 Dixie Road) in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Sinmidele Will Be Releasing Her Debut Album On Oct. 18

Fans and supporters of Sinmidele will be thrilled to learn that she will be releasing her very first album on October 18, 2024. Unfortunately, not much is known about the project as it relates to the number of tracks and whether or not there will be any collaborations. However, what we do know is that it will be called “Perfect Union.” 

Sinmidele, whose real name is Sinmidele Ayodeji, is a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter with a natural flair for music. Her music career took off after the release of the single “Amen Amen,” which showcased her soulful and uplifting sound and gained her a loyal fan base in Nigeria and beyond.

Florida Gospel Festival 2024

The 2nd edition of Florida Gospel Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th, starting at 6:00 p.m. EDT. With the support of Mayor Alix Desulme, Vice Mayor Mary Estimé-Irvin, and others, it will be held at Eglise de Dieu Mont des Oliviers (13230 Northwest 7th Avenue) in North Miami. 

There will be live performances by Apocalypse 2000, El Shama, LOG, Andral Estimable, Sr Paulate, Papy Pepe, Marielle Donatien, New Generation Music, Aubri Blague, Osline Pierre, and Jean René Charles. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
