Annatoria’s “Present Jesu” EP

Blessing Annatoria Chitapa, more popularly known as Annatoria, is known for the unique way in which she fuses her gospel songs with R&B, pop, and Afrobeat. Her latest EP, “Present Jesu,” features all the aforementioned musical styles and is a testament to the fact that Annatoria is successfully carving out a niche within the industry.

On the five-track project shared on November 15, the Zimbabwe-born singer skillfully reimagines five well-known Christmas carols: “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” “Hark Now Hear,” “Joy To The World,” “This Christmas,” and “All I Want.”

PrayzHim Past, Present & Future

PrayzHim Gospel Band, the Haitian ensemble that has given us several hits in Kompa, will be hosting a concert called ‘The Past Present & Future’ on Saturday, December 7th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. EST. This will be at the New Church of Faith (5000 Silver Star Road) in Orlando, Florida. 

‘The Past Present & Future’ concert will be a night of uplifting music and powerful worship as PrayzHim celebrate the journey of their gospel band. Attendees will be introduced to their present sound, get a sneak peek into the future of their music, and reminisce on their earlier releases. Zoepoze, Jean Rene Charles, and Marielle Donatien are also on the show. Tickets, which are going for US$20, are available on Eventbrite.

Tree Lighting Gospel Concert In Riverdale

The city of Riverdale in Georgia will be having their annual Tree Lighting Gospel Concert at the Riverdale Town Center Amphitheater, located at 7210 Church Street, on Saturday, December 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. 

This year’s headliners are Jekalyn Carr, Byron Cage, and Isaac Carree. In addition to the live musical entertainment, attendees will also be able to partake in various activities and meal choices. Most importantly, this is a free event.

Blind Boys of Alabama Annual Christmas Show

Visually impaired ensemble, The Blind Boys of Alabama, which has had a changing roster of musicians over its history, will be having their annual Christmas Show on Saturday, November 30, at the City Winery in Atlanta. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. sharp. 

The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends in gospel music. They have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans over 70 years. Some of their accolades include six Grammy Awards, an induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and being honored by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and that is just to name a few. Catch Kukudoo Live In The Bronx On Nov. 30

David ‘Kukudoo’ McDermott will be taking his mento-soaked gospel songs and high energy to Discovery Recovery Church (706 E 215 Street) in The Bronx, New York, on Saturday, November 30. He is set to perform at approximately 6:00 p.m., and admission is free. 

This event is being sponsored by the Reasons Children Organization. In addition to the live show, attendees will be offered dinner and lots of giveaways.

William Murphy Performs At Atlanta’s City Winery On Dec. 14

International recording artist William Murphy will be taking his inspirational messages to the City Winery (650 North Avenue Northeast, Ponce City Market) in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, December 14, for a live concert.
