Gospel artist Jonathan McReynolds has released his latest project, Closer (Live In Chicago), a powerful new album recorded in his hometown of Chicago and now available across major streaming platforms.

Released on March 27, 2026, via Capitol CMG in partnership with Life Room, the live album captures an intimate and spiritually charged worship experience that reflects McReynolds’ continued artistic and personal growth.

The 13-track album features a number of notable collaborations, including appearances from Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tim Bowman Jr., Jordan G. Welch, and Jamal Roberts, among others. Standout tracks such as “Still” and “New Normal” have already begun generating attention, offering listeners a glimpse into the album’s worship-driven direction.

Gospel music fans across Canada are getting ready for Chandler Moore‘s Grateful Tour which will be stopping in three cities this May. Known for his dynamic worship leading and powerful vocals, Moore will be joined by The River Worship and The Color for an inspiring series of performances.

The tour will make stops in Toronto (Whitby) on May 28 at the Canada Event Centre, followed by Ottawa on May 29 at Woodvale Pentecostal, and concluding in Montreal (Longueuil) on May 30 at Nouvelle Vie. Each show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.

Incredible Church, based in California, has announced a powerful weekend of worship and community celebration in observance of Easter. The upcoming festivities are centered on the sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord and Savior.

The weekend officially begins on Saturday, April 4, with a 12:00 PM worship service and dedicated Kids Church at 238 E 15th Street in Oakland. It continues on Easter Sunday, April 5, at 278 Grand Avenue, also in Oakland. The Jamaica Gospel Star 2026 competition is now accepting entries, with organizers announcing a new submission deadline of Friday, April 17, 2026. Presented by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the annual competition continues to serve as a major platform for discovering and showcasing gospel talent across Jamaica.

The competition is open to individuals and groups of up to four persons who are 16 years and older. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for over $1 million in cash and prizes, making it one of the most anticipated gospel music events on the local entertainment calendar.
