TVJ’s Higher Praise Gospel Show will be in full swing this Sunday, March 6th, starting at approximately 5pm EST.
The confirmed performers for this week are: Tarshea Williams, Mykal Malachi, Joraine Welsh and the Arlene Gardens Gospel Assembly Anointed Hands Ministry.
The entire show will broadcast live on Television Jamaica, Power 106 Radio, TVJ’s YouTube channel and zoom (meeting ID: 863 5811 6439 and passcode: TVJPRAISE).
On Friday, February 25th, Gospel JA FM – a radio station comitted to playing mostly Jamaican gospel music – celebrated their 10 year anniversary.
They used the opportunity to honor gospel singer Rhoda Isabella, naming her the Artist Of The Year for 2021.
Prior to her successful solo career, Rhoda Isabella was a member of the gospel group iWorship; and before that she spent approximately ten years as a background vocalist for Jermain Edwards.
Pop-rock and R&B gospel artist Tauren Wells has just released a brand new song and video titled Fake It. The pop record is a collaboration done with Christian rapper Aaron Cole.

American Grammy Award-winning Gospel singer, musician, songwriter and businesswoman – Karen Clark Sheard – has entered into a deal with Motown Gospel. It’s a three-way partnership that also involves Karew Records, Clark Sheard’s own imprint.
Her fans and supporters should know that this means that her first album, since the 2015 Destined To Win, is coming later this year.
