Labor Day Gospel Concert

St. Michael’s Funeral Home, one of Jamaica’s state of the art death care facilities, will have their annual Labor Day Gospel Concert on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, at Ocho Rios Primary School (located on Milford Road, in Ocho Rios).

This year’s performers are fan favorites Goddy Goddy, Sister Patt, Junior Tucker, and Rhoda Issabella. Per usual, this is a free event that’s open to the public. The starting time is 8:00 p.m.

Full Itinerary For Tye Tribbett’s “Only One Night Tho” Tour

It has begun! Tye Tribbett has officially started his twenty-show U.S. tour dubbed Only One Night Tho. The tour kicked off on Thursday, May 16 in Philadelphia, and will wrap up a few days before the start of summer, on June 14.

On specific dates, Tye Tribbett will be joined by some of his friends, namely: Tasha Page-Lockhart, Jonathan Traylor, Mike Teezy, and DOE. The complete schedule is as follows:

Mindset is a Christian music conference created to educate music creatives (singers, songwriters, composers, publishers, musicians, etc.) on how to navigate the industry. It has been aptly described as a networking hub for anyone involved in the business of gospel music.

The location for this year’s staging is The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, located at 81 Knutsford Boulevard in Kingston 5, St. Andrew, Jamaica. It will run from May 20-22. Celebrate 40 Years Of Music With Sherwin Gardner

Trinidadians and Tobagonians are being advised to gear up for what is expected to be an unforgettable night of celebration with Sherwin Gardner. The gospel-reggae artist will be commemorating 40 years of music ministry at Faith Assembly International (Five Rivers Junction, Arouca) in Trinidad and Tobago on June 1st.

Gardner will be joined by several guests. This includes Limoblaze, who is coming all the way from Nigeria, and local sensation Positive. Special tributes will be made to Jamie Thomas, Samuel Dyer, and Gitta Dan. Click here to buy tickets.

The PK Riddims & Friends Concert Series Continues

Son of David will be staging another concert in the PK Riddims & Friends series, on Saturday, June 29th. It will be held at Merrell United Methodist Church – 3900 North State Road 7 – in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, starting at 7 p.m.

Famed Jamaican comedian Oliver Samuels will host, and there will be performances by Lee Priest Johnson, Marcia Young, Kimola, Joan Flemmings, 2ND Chance, and of course PK Riddims Band. Adult tickets are US$50, while children under twelve will be asked to pay US$25. Click here to purchase passes.
