Gigantic Gospel Concert – September, 2024

The upcoming Gigantic Gospel Concerts will be staged in Dallas, Texas at Friendship West Baptist Church (2020 W. Wheatland Rd.), and Houston, Texas, at The Kingdom Builders Center (6011 W. Orem Drive) on September 7th and 8th, respectively.

Presented by J. Spivey Productions, which is owned and operated by Jimmie E. Spivey, these events will see the likes of Pastor Shirley Caesar, Kathy Taylor, Anita Wilson, The Williams Brothers, Jessica Reedy, Christian Anderson, Glorified, and Lisa Knowles-Smith performing live. Pastor Kim Burrell will host on both days, and tickets are available on Eventbrite.

The 051 Glorious Hill Gospel Music Festival is set to take place on September 1, 2024, at the Madiba Arena (Vista) in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

This highly anticipated event promises a night of worship, hope, and thanksgiving with performances by renowned gospel artists such as Janet Manyowa, Bishop Benjamin Dube, Ntokozo Mbambo, Khaya Mthethwa, Dumi Mkokstad, Skwara, and Thami Mancho, among others.

Pure Fest

Pure In Heart Ministries International, a Jamaica-based non-denominational Christ-centered church, will be hosting their inaugural fundraising initiative dubbed Pure Fest. It will be staged at the Swallowfield Chapel in Kingston on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Pure Fest will feature performances by some of reggae-gospel’s trending performers: Ryan Mark, DJ Nicholas, Jason Mighty, Goddy Goddy, Naurice Edwards, and Marlon Young. Click here for tickets.

Richie Stephens Teams Up With Sanchez For New Gospel Track “Forever Grateful”

Richie Stephens and Sanchez, two of reggae’s most respected vocalists, have joined forces to publicly express their gratitude to The Almighty. The gospel track, titled “Forever Grateful,” is featured on Richie‘s recently released album, “The Soul of Richie Stephens.”

Richie Stephens, a veteran reggae artist, has never shied away from creating gospel music when he felt compelled to do so. In fact, one of the biggest gospel compilations shared in Jamaica last year was the “Street Gospel Riddim,” which was produced by Richie Stephens and released on his own Pot of Gold Production label.

As for Sanchez, he is primarily known for his melodious voice and numerous lovers-rock hits. However, since the 1990s, he has been incorporating gospel themes in most of his recordings. Sanchez was officially embraced by the Christian community after the release of his 1999 gospel album, “Who is This Man,” and a few years later, he shared another gospel project called “He’s Got the Power.”

“The Soul of Richie Stephens,” as the name implies, is a soul music album. It was released on July 26, 2024, and is now available on all streaming platforms.

One Fair Wage and Black Voters Matter will present their Raise the Wage Event Series in Chicago from August 19–21, 2024. This is a diverse series of functions designed to elevate the issues that have been prioritized in the polls in the 2024 U.S. elections. The cost of living and low wages are the top concerns for voters of color and youths, hence the Raise the Wage Event Series.

The standout gospel show in the series is sub-titled Raise Our Spirits. It’s set for August 20th at Greenwood Oasis (7621 South Greenwood Avenue) in Chicago, Illinois. Lecrae, Le’Andria Johnson, Charles Jenkins, and Doug E. Fresh will perform live, and it will be hosted by Darlene McCoy and Sonya Blakey. Click here for tickets.

Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and rapper Limoblaze is bringing his ‘Young and Chosen’ show to the O2 Forum (9-17 Highgate Road) in Kentish Town, London, UK, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, starting at 6.00 p.m.

On Saturday, September 21, Eli Production and Balm2 Productions Inc. will present New York’s first annual Brothers Standing on Business Gospel Concert. It will be staged at Cornerstone Baptist Church (574 Madison Street) in Brooklyn, New York from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EDT.

They are promising potential patrons an evening of good music and high praise. There will be a special appearance by The Voice pastor Kim Burrell, and performances by Tim Rogers & The Fellas, Bishop Darrell McFadden & DMD, The McDuffies, Pastor Tre, June & The Sionettes, Bre Holly & Faithful, and The Glory Boys.
