Jamaica’s 2026 Labour Day Praise & Worship Concert takes place on Monday, May 25, at Emancipation Park in New Kingston, beginning at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Admission is free to the public.
The concert will feature gospel performers Prodigal Son, Johnmark Wiggan, Jabez, Sebastian Braham, Lubert Levy, Julene Minto, Raheim Betty, Donielle Anderson, and Joraine Wiggan. The Hezekiah Walker Center for Gospel Music at Virginia Union University (VUU) will present a Juneteenth Concert on June 20th at 12PM, held at Barco-Stevens Lawn, 1500 N. Lombardy Street, Richmond, Virginia. The event is themed “Honoring Freedom – Celebrating Faith – Inspiring Unity.”
Gospel legend Shirley Caesar will appear as a special guest, joining the VUU Gospel Choir. The concert is sponsored by Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, offered by HealthKeepers, Inc., under the Virginia Medicaid Plan, and is presented in partnership with Virginia Union University.
Albuquerque is gearing up for a major free outdoor concert event this summer. The Freedom Celebration will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park on Friday, June 27, with doors opening at 4 PM.
