Have You Seen Kirk Franklin’s Tiny Desk Home Concert? (@kirkfranklin)

At the end of February NPR Music uploaded Kirk Franklin‘s Tiny Desk Home Concert, and I for one am glad that they did. Kirk is one of those performers that takes you into his world, regardless if you are into his style of music or not.

The set was amazing and I encourage everyone that enjoys a good performance – gospel or otherwise – to check it out. Click here or on the image above to watch the video and remember to like, comment and share.

Samuel Suh Shares Another Video From His “Victory” EP (@samuelsuh_)

Samuel Suh kicked off the month of March with the release of the visuals for “One Word,” track number-two (2) on his Victory EP. If I can describe both the song and the new video in one word (no pun intended), it would be beautiful.

Alaine Releases New Reggae-Gospel “Carry On” (@Alainesinga)

On February 12th, DJ Frass Records – a secular reggae and dancehall record label out of Jamaica – released a rhythm driven reggae compilation dubbed “Six Miles Riddim.” The project, which is clearly non-religious, featured one very prominent Christian artist; Alaine.

Alaine Laughton, who is publicly known by her first name, is a Jamaican-American reggae singer and songwriter. She was born in New Jersey. In early 2019, Alaine got baptized and has been doing gospel music ever since.

Her latest release, “Carry On,” is featured on the aforementioned project. The very inspirational record is both soothing and encouraging.
