Busy Signal Featured On Gold Up’s Latest Release “Location” (@busysignal_turf)

Gold Up – the musical duo of Raphael (from France) and dancehall composer Zack Ariyah – has just shared a new single titled Location. The soothing afro-beat tune features vocals from Jamaican dancehall star Busy Signal and Ghanaian recording artist Kelvyn Boy.

Location went live on all digital streaming platform on March 18 and was accompanied by the release of the official video on YouTube.

Karamanti Releases 2nd Single From Her “Spiritual Warfare” Album

Jamaican dancehall artist Karamanti has just shared the second single from her new album, Spiritual Warfare. The song is a bouncy hip-hop fused track titled Spiritual Realms and as the name implies this track maintains the unworldly theme of the entire project. 

The beat for Spiritual Realms was created by Czech producer Major P, someone with whom Karamanti has collaborated with in the past. The two met years ago while she was on tour in Europe and was given the opportunity to
work on another one of his rhythms.

Aside from the actual making of the beat, everything else was done in Jamaica. Spiritual Realms was recorded at Anchor Studios in Kingston; mixed by Lampshade in Portmore and mastered by AudioTraxx Productions in Old Harbour. 

The visuals were shot a few days ago and is now being edited.

N.G.V Production Releases New Dancehall Riddim “TekSet” 

Jamaican dancehall artists Ras Bentley and Amnon (formerly known as Rajah Dallah), along with Amnon‘s long time friend Jamar McLeod, have all join forces on a new imprint called N.G.V Production. The acronym NGV is an abbreviation for New Garden Vibes, a name chosen because all the key partners are either from the small St. Andrew community with the same name, or currently reside there.

The men are introducing their new label by releasing the TekSet Riddim; a five-track dancehall compilation that features music from Ras Bentley, Amnon, Blacc Lite, Hotta Breads and Karamanti. They shared the project a few days ago and have been enjoying favorable feedback from both dancehall lovers and general music critics ever since.

When asked what can the public expect from the N.G.V Production team going forward, Ras Bentley said: “for NGV it’s a new brand and it’s a brand that deal with stuff that is historically. We are a open minded set a youths with a lot of humility and humbleness. Very positive! A lot of positive vibes. We are going to be a brand that will be a force to be reckon with.”

New Dancehall Video From Busy Signal “Yeng Yeng” (@busysignal_turf @Troyton_TM)

The visuals for Yeng YengBusy Signal‘s latest trending dancehall single – is out now! The song, which was produced by Troyton Music, was released in mid January and immediately received a lot of attention because of its message.

On record, Signal makes it clear that he does not trust the Yeng Yeng bikers, as quite a few of them are riding around only to rob and harm unsuspecting people. Yeng Yeng‘s official video accurately reflects the words of the song.

Dancehall artist Agent Sasco is still winning! He just dropped a new single – Mosquito Destroyer – that’s already trending in dancehall circles. The record, which was produced by J.L.L. for Out Deh Music, was released at the end of February (on the 25th to be exact).

One of the reasons Mosquito Destroyer has captured the attention of Jamaicans so quickly is because of its subject matter. In a comical way Agent Sasco outlines one of the biggest problems currently plaguing the nation: gangs and gangsters.

A few weeks ago New York based Massive B Records released the No Curfew Riddim; a classical dancehall juggling that has music from Cocoa Tea, Chezidek, Anthony B, Bramma and Burro Banton.
