Rasta recording artist Jahnny Scorchy has made public his new official website which will serve as his digital home. The site which is http://www.scorchysky.com/ gives fans and supporters’ access to Jahnny’s music, videos, photos, press and so much more.

As the artist is currently in studio working on an EP he thought it necessary to get the official site up and running as it will serve as a platform to market the project once it’s completed.

The video which was directed by Chris “Icey Jace” Campbell was shot across several location in Kingston including Maxfield Park and Kings Street.

Karamanti Added To The Lineup Of Artists To Perform At IRIE FMs Health Fair on March 22nd (@Karamanti)

IRIE FM’S Healthy Life Style Health Fair and 10KKaramanti will join a whole host of artists on this years’ IRIE FM Health Fair scheduled for the 22nd of March at Turtle River Park in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, Jamaica.

The Health Fair is IRIE FM’s way of giving back to the parish of St. Ann and its environs touching other parishes such as St. Mary, Trelawny and even Clarendon. Between 5,000 and 7,000 patrons are expected to grace the event with their presence between the planned 13 hours with different persons turning out for different reasons, ranging from participating in the road races to taking their children for the fun at the kiddies’ village.

The IRIE FM Health Fair will feature physical activities, health checks, entertainment, food and play area for children. There will be a live outside broadcast starting at 6am with the Africa Forum hosted by Ka’Bu Ma’at Kheru and Muta Baruka.

LeetalMandeville based recording artist Lee’Tal has just been added to the Blakkout Tour which takes place in that city on April 25th at Qwest Night Club. The event will see other Manchester talents such as Chizem and DJ Neico on the line up and will also include acts from other Parishes. Lee’Tal was added to the event because of his strong stage presence and his ever growing fan base especially in that region. MORE ABOUT LEE’TAL: Lee’tal’s love for music grew as his interest escalated into the audio engineering side of the business where he taught himself and took tips from other producers. Later he partnered and built the Voice Room Recording Studio, which developed his musical ear and production skills. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities of running the Recording Studio, he still found time to write and record his own material and tour the local and international Reggae scene. He later decided to venture on his own where he continued recording and performing while perfecting his craft.

With an artistic, creative mind Lee’tal is now a part of the ever-growing production brand Inflowmatiq Entertainment Group. Music is his tool used to express himself, it entertains his ever increasing fans, thus earning him endless love and support in his home town Mandeville. Famed selector Ricky Trooper has officially joined the Sound Chat Radio Network, adding radio personality to his growing list of accomplishments. Trooper’s Monday, March 2 debut on the Irish and Chin owned radio network made history, as listenership peaked, reaching an all-time high. The iconic sound man did exactly what he is famous for, setting his own trend by playing the music his way. Free from hype and every day selections, the massive listening audience loved every minute of Trooper’s new show.

Lt. Stitchie writes “letter to dad” and is honored for his contribution to the music industry (@kingstitchie)

Lt. Stitchie honored for his contribution to the Jamaican music industryThe last few weeks have been extremely hectic for legendary dancehall artist Lt. Stitchie. In addition to releasing the third single from his upcoming album on February 15th, Stitchie was also honored for his contribution to Reggae on February 28th.

As the ‘Governor’, as he is affectionately referred to by his peers continue to work on his upcoming album, his marketing and production team thought it necessary to release another single as the album is not scheduled to be out until the summer. Approximately two weeks ago they dropped the track “Letter to Dad” and the song has literally got everyone talking. Long time fans and supporters of Lt. Stitchie are realizing that he is still one of the best lyricists in Dancehall while persons within the industry have been commending him on his consistency as far as clean content and relevant goes. “Letter to Dad” was recorded while Stitchie was in France; production was done by Flash Hit Records and Manudigital. As Lt. Stitchie and his team were in high gear promoting “Letter to Dad” they were notified that the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) will be honoring him for his contribution to the music industry over the years. The ceremony was held on Saturday, February 28th at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston and it saw not only Stitchie but 21 music professionals being honored at an elegant red carpet affair.  Regarding being honored, Stitchie said “this award means more to him than anything else because it is coming from his peers. “
