This coming Saturday, dancehall artist Bling Dawg will be having his birthday party at the popular venue, Oniel’s Place (located at 33 Hagley Park Road) in Kingston, Jamaica. Music will be provided by a slew of top-tier selectors, namely: Supa Hype, Bishop Escobar, Swatch Int’l, CD Fantasy, Boom Boom and Harry Hype.

This is a free event that is sure to see a lot of celebrity guests passing through.

Dancehall Artist Jahmiel Is “A Okay”

With all the noise in Jamaica’s dancehall industry, new artists and crews coming and going, the Great Man Jahmiel, is showing his fans and supporters that he is okay. A few days ago he released the official video for the track, AOK, which is on his new album “Great Man.” In the upbeat, energetic and fast-paced video the artist does indeed seem to be doing alright.

Lt. Stitchie Returns To Jamaica After A Successful Euro Tour Centered On Promoting His New Album “Masterclass”(@Lt_Stitchie)

Lt. StitchieLast week, Lt. Stitchie, who is also known as the Dancehall Governor, returned to Jamaica after wrapping up the first leg of his Masterclass Tour in Europe. The artist performed on ten major festivals in Spain, Germany, Belgium, England, Italy and France.

While on the road, Stitchie took time out to shoot two new music videos from the album, plus three live videos; one of which was for Manudigital‘s popular YouTube Artist Series. He also did approximately ten interviews via Radio, Podcast, Cable TV and magazines. If all that was not enough, the Governor somehow found time to engage in several successful dub-plate sessions.

Masterclass was released on April 12th of this year. It’s a 17-track album that features collaborations with Agent Sasco, Ricky Stereo, Million Stylez and Fantan Mojah. Producers include: Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Emmanuel “Manudigital” Herron and Cleve “Lt. Stitchie” Laing. Since its release, Masterclass entered the Top 20 Global Reggae Chart at #8 and it continues to do well on all reggae, dancehall and gospel platforms.

New York based recording artist, E.G., will be out and about this weekend as he and his team are launching an aggressive street campaign to promote tracks released earlier in the year.

Before expanding his catalogue, the dancehall artist would like potential fans and supporters to know about songs like: Shake It (street and radio mix), Fade Away, Party and Head Gone (both the song and video). Therefore, he will be making an appearance at several events in the NYC area, where he will be meeting people and handing out promo material.

Sizzla To Perform In Discovery Bay, St. Ann This Sunday!

The SDC, Wray & Nephew National Community T20 Cricket Finals will take place this Sunday, August 25th at the Noranda Sports Complex in Discovery Bay, St. Ann. In an effort to attract the masses, the organizers have invited reggae/dancehall artists Sizzla Kalonji and Govana to perform.

Admission is $1,000 JMD and children under twelve years old will be admitted free of charge.
