On Saturday, June 8th, reggae recording artists Luciano and dancehall entertainer Baby Cham will both be at the University of Calgary (2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, AB. Canada) in the Macewan Hall for Riddim West. Riddim West is a family-friendly reggae event that features top-tier musical performers from Canada and the world. It is being hosted by the organizers of the annual Calgary ReggaeFest.

In addition to the live performances, Riddim West will also have a marketplace with local vendors, beer garden serving up some local craft beer from Village Brewery, food and an interactive kids zone. Gates will open at 2:30 PM and the show will begin at 3 PM. Early bird tickets are available here.

“Touch Road” is currently receiving a lot of attention, especially as the song is getting steady rotation from one of Jamaica’s most popular dancehall selectors, ZJ Liquid. The video is now being edited and an official release date will be announced shortly.

KT Productions in association with Pumpstation Entertainment, Westline Productions and Xlusive Levels presents Buju Banton‘s ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ tour on Saturday, June 15th. It will be held at the Tortola Festival Grounds, Roadtown in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

In addition to Buju Banton, there will also be performances from Capleton, Cocoa Tea, Koffee, Pressure, Sista Joyce, Revalation Da Royal and Shine I. Artists will be supported by Buju’s Shiloh Band.

On Saturday, May 25th and Sunday, May 26th, West Fest Prom. will be hosting the Mannings Food Festival at The Ranch (Llandilo Main Road) in Savannah La Mar, Westmoreland. This is a family event that will have bounce-a-bout, face paintings, clowns, games and more. There will also be live performances by several artists, with Mr. Lexx as the main headlining act.
