A couple weeks ago emerging artist Quality, along with his team from Sekimhaj Records, shot the official video for his catchy single, Stronger. The visuals were captured at three locations: Downtown Kingston, in the Liguanea area, as well as the Red Hills Road community (Jamaica). It features cameo appearances by legendary reggae/ska artist Stranger Cole, veteran singer Culture T and popular dancehall producer Malakhii (from Malakhii Records).

The video was directed, shot and edited by Maria Jackson. It is now ready for release and will be shared with the public on Thursday, August 1st.

Agent Sasco continues to win with his album Hope River, released last year on his own Diamond Studios label. The artist just shared another video from that project and it is absolutely amazing! The song is called “Grateful” and it’s a collaboration done with Stephen Marley. On the record both men lament on all that they are thankful for.

Elephant Man, Junior Reid, Estelle & Raging Fyah For VP’s Summerstage Concert On Aug. 10th (@EstelleDarlings @VPRecords)

The event will take place at Summerstage Performance Venue (Central Park) in New York on Saturday, August 10th from 5 to 10 PM.

Watching Beenie Man & Bounty Killer Together On Stage At Sumfest Was A Treat! (@KingBeenieMan @GrungGaadZillA)

I’m sure all dancehall lovers will agree that one of the treats on this year’s Sumfest was the Beenie Man / Bounty Killer set. Both artists took the audience on a musical history tour as they did song after song from their past, all hits by the way.

The Beenie / Bounty set also demonstrated that you can have serious lyrical war without it getting personal or physical. Great job guys!
