On Friday, November 29th, fast rising recording artist Lila Iké will perform at the popular event, dubbed ‘Boom Friday,’ which will be held at Zoobar Roma (Via Generale Roberto Bencivenga 1, 00141) in Rome, Italy.
Boom Friday is a weekly dancehall party, hosted by Pakkia Crew, Vito YardBeat and Italy’s Weddy Weddy.
Last month the energy god, Elephant Man, released a single that once again puts dancing in the forefront of dancehall communities worldwide. The song, titled “Find It,” is on the Downsound Records label and is undeniably the ultimate dancing song, especially if you are a dancehall dancer.
To solidify his position as the king of dancing music within the industry, Elephant Man shared the official video for “Find It,” in which he features all the top Jamaican dancers. To say the video is captivating would be an understatement.

On Thursday, November 21st, Appleton Estate will be hosting Capleton at the Jungle Fiah Lounge (AMC Plaza, Bayside) in Portmore, Jamaica.
In addition to the live band show, Selector Krazy Kris will also be on hand to provide additional music. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM and there is no cover charge.
One of reggae / dancehall’s most respected sound-system, Coppershot, will be celebrating their 25th anniversary at the Caymanas Golf Club on Saturday, December 7th.
Some heavyweight dancehall artists will be on hand to perform at the event; namely: Sean Paul, Baby Cham, Bounty Killer, Munga Honorable and Chi Ching Ching.
The raining queen of reggae, Marcia Griffiths, will join veteran female dancehall artist, Lady G, for a live show at Club Viva on Friday, November 15th. The venue is located at 408 N. Euclid Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. The ladies will be supported by DJ Witz, Dezirie, Rayne and the all female backing band Rayzalution.
Doors will open at 9:00 PM, while the show itself is schedule to begin at 11:00 PM. Patrons should keep in mind that there is an admission fee of $30 USD at the gate.
The Happy Flex Riddim, produced by Reggae Vibes Music, features new songs from Mr. Vegas, Jahvillani, Shane O, Turbulence, Ginjah, as well as newcomers Nazine and Michael Davey. People are already praising the compilation as being balanced and refreshing because it features artists that have been reigning since the 90’s alongside new sensations who will definitely be a factor in the near future.
Mr. Vegas’ track “Can’t Go Without” was released as a single during the summer and has already made its rounds on BBC 1 Xtra and Capital Xtra in the UK. Likewise Jahvillani‘s “Bad Clarks & Blue Jeans,” which details his ongoing love affair with the British shoe brand Clarks, was also released as a single. It is currently enjoying heavy rotation on mixtapes and radio in both the U.S. and Jamaica.
