As a part of their ‘Thursday Night Live’ series, the Jungle Fiah Lounge, located in the AMC Plaza, Bayside, Portmore, will be hosting four reggae-dancehall veteran artists tomorrow, March 12th. They have invited Courtney Melody, Johnny P, Flourgon and Daddy Lizard to perform all their past hits as well as some new releases.
This is a live band show that will run from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM local time.
On Saturday, April 11th, Capleton will perform a set at the historic live music venue, Main Street Armory, located at 900 E Main Street in Rochester, New York.
The event, which is called Reggae Blaze, is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM local time. The admission fee ranges from $45 to $65 USD.
At the beginning of February Mavado released his latest single, titled “Truest Thoughts.” The visuals were shared on February 5th and the audio went live on all digital music stores a few days later – February 14th. “Truest Thoughts,” which is produced by DJ Frass Records, has the same vibe, energy and message as some of Mavado‘s earlier hits; and as such, it’s also on track to be a major hit.

The 2020 ReggaeFest is set for Saturday April 4th and Sunday, April 5th at the Dixie Roadhouse (1023 SE47th Terrace) in Cape Coral, Florida. The gates will open at 1:30 pm on both days with the main stage running from 2 to 11 pm on Saturday, and 9 pm until… on Sunday.
The two major headliners for this year are Freddie McGregor (Saturday) and Sizzla Kalonji (Sunday). Other confirmed talents are: Jah Movement, Propaganjah, Roots Almighty, Nostaljah, Izlander & the Warriors, Mixed Culture, Trinity 7, Jahfari, Faded Roots, UMOJA, Ragady Lapsey Band, Reggae Lou & The Kind Budz, Karibbean Groove, Tribal Love ft. Errol Woodhouse, The Jewmacians, Seventh Chapter, Luna Muni, DJ Traffic, DJ Skubii, DJ Selecta, DJ Steel and many more.
LNTP Family presents their annual Labor Day Link-Up & Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 23rd. It will be held at Linval’s Lawn in Port Morant, St. Thomas. Two of the most respected sound systems in reggae-dancehall, Stone Love and Bass Odyssey, will provide the musical selections, with support from Richie Lees.
In addition to the music, there will also be attractions such as: 6A side football, domino tournament and kiddies treats. Admission is $800 JMD at the gate.
Lutan Fyah will join Ikaya, Illusion and others on the lineup for the 2020 St. Mary Kite & Food Festival. Set for Easter Sunday, April 12th, the St. Mary Kite & Food Festival will be held at the Buccaneer’s Jerk and Juice in Port Maria, St. Mary.
This is a family event that will kick off at 10:00 AM, and will go until 2:00 AM the following morning. There is a $1,500 JMD entrance fee at the gate.
On Thursday, March 5th, three veteran recording artists – Josey Wales, Admiral Bailey and Quench Aid – will perform at the Jungle Fiah Lounge in the AMC Plaza (Bayside, Portmore, Jamaica).
