Alley Bless Will Premier Her New Video For “Rough” This Sunday, April 12th

Recording artist, Alley Bless, who came 2nd in Jamaica’s 2019 Festival Song Competition, will release the official video for her powerful single, “Rough.” this Sunday, April 12th. Published on the Sekimhaj Records label, “Rough” is a captivating, inspirational track that encourages its listeners to preserve regardless of the challenges.

The video, which was shot by Maria Jackson in St. Thomas, will show Alley Bless telling the story of a poor single mother who struggles to feed herself and her son. “Rough” was written and produced by Sekimhaj Records’ CEO and owner, Michael Reynolds.

The Barbados Reggae Festival, Which Was Scheduled For The End Of April, Has Been Postponed – New Date To Be Announced!

Barbados’ biggest reggae event, the annual Barbados Reggae Festival, will not take place on the announced dates of April 24th – 28th. In accordance with the request made by the Prime Minister of Barbados (to restrict public gatherings), the organizers have decided to postpone the event to a later date.

The new date has not yet been announced.

Canadian Music Week Pushed Back To September (@CMW_Week)

2-ChainzThe organizers of the annual Canadian Music Week has announced that the event has been postponed until September, 2020. It was initially scheduled to take place from May 19-23 in downtown Toronto. The new tentative dates are Sept. 8-13, 2020. See statement below.

“Due to the continuing spread of the novel COVID-19 virus we believe it is our social responsibility to postpone the upcoming Canadian Music Week 2020 Conference and Expo. In light of the recent growing number of event cancellations, Public Health Canada statements, and various provincial gathering bans, we concluded this was the right decision. The health and safety of our speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, visitors, and staff is our number one priority. We have managed to find an alternative date at a later time period at the same venue (Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel). The NEW dates for Canadian Music Week will be September 8–13, 2020.”
