Earlier today – August 14th – Busy Signal uploaded the music video for his song, “Perfect Spot,” which is on the “Top Spot Riddim” that was released last year. The video was directed by Warriors Films and it features actress Assata Jawhary as Signal‘s leading lady.

Having just shared the official video for “Dollar Sign,” roots reggae singer Iba Mahr is again dropping another video. The new clip is for his song “Fully Advanced,” which is on the One Time Music label.

Though the Jamaican government is allowing outdoor events to take place, the organizers of Capleton‘s popular charity show, ‘A St. Mary Mi Come From,’ have decided not to do the event this year.
Under the current orders that are in place due to covid-19, concerts being held in Jamaica are only allowed to have approximately 250 patrons inside the venue. ‘A St. Mary Mi Come From’ is a major annual stage-show that usually attracts thousands of people, so it makes sense to postpone it until next year when things are back to normal.
Billboard Magazine, arguably one of America’s biggest urban publication, just did a full story on the popular ‘Verzuz Song Competition,’ which was created by Swizz Beats and Timbaland.
In their article they did a brief write up about all the verzuz clashes that took place, but on the magazine cover they left off dancehall artists Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. Alot of people are rightfully upset about this because the dancehall show was one of the biggest, as it relates to views, streams etc.
Dancehall recording artist Jahmiel has been very busy lately. Since the start of the global pandemic he has been dropping a new song, and / or video, almost on a weekly basis.
Though all his releases are good, his latest project, “Return,” is probably the hardest we’ve gotten from him to date. Check it out here and judge for yourself.
Though it was shared a day late, Busy Signal‘s video for “Jamaica Jamaica” is spot on. The song, which is on the Maximum Sound Productions label, was officially released on June 5th, and it accurately outlines everything about the little island known as the rock.

As promised, Agent Sasco has delivered the remix to his summer hit “Loco.” The revised version features dancehall artist Bounty Killer and reggae lyricist Kabaka Pyramid.
