Inner City Dub will honour the life and legacy of reggae icon Peter Tosh on Monday, October 19, 2026, with a Roots Rockers Reggae Dub Session titled Remembering the Stepping Razor.

The date marks what would have been Tosh’s 82nd birthday. Born on October 19, 1944, he died on September 11, 1987. The event celebrates the musician, activist and Wailers co-founder, whose uncompromising voice remains a cornerstone of reggae’s conscious tradition.

The evening features performances by Bushman, Jah Gideon, Italee, Ras-i and Fredlocks, artists who carry the roots and culture sound forward. The programme also ilibrates the life of Denise Isis Miller, who is also celebrating her earthday.

The session runs from 7 p.m. to midnight at Nation Lounge, 2A Milk Lane, Spanish Town Road, Downtown Kingston. Inner City Dub’s motto, “Come with your hope, leave with your glory,” reflects the spirit of the night.
