Veteran Jamaican reggae artist Cedric Myton has teamed up with Brazil-based DJ and producer Freedom Sounds for “Blue Sky,” an inspirational roots reggae recording featuring Jacko Bagatini. Released on September 11, 2026 via Marroquino Estudio, the song celebrates the beauty of life, nature and the earth while giving thanks to the Most High for the gift of life.

Written by Myton, “Blue Sky” also highlights the uplifting power of music, the importance of movement and exercise, and the simple beauty of sunshine and blue skies. The recording was produced, mixed and mastered by Jacko Bagatini and recorded at Marroquino Estudio in Canoa Quebrada, Brazil.

An official music video was also released on September 11. It features Myton enjoying nature, relaxing and performing the song in what appears to be various locations in Brazil. Filmed with an iPhone 15 Pro Max and edited by Selectah Nobeat of Falamemo Studio, the bright visual complements the song’s positive energy. The video is available on Freedom Sounds’ YouTube channel.
