Papa San Blends Reggae, Dancehall, and Worship on New EP My Worship

Jamaican gospel recording artist Papa San began 2026 with the release of his EP My Worship, which arrived on January 1. The six-track project is a concise but well-rounded body of work that balances testimony, praise, and reflection.

One of the EP’s standouts is “Nobody Like You,” an honest and gripping declaration of faith in which Papa San expresses the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. The track is delivered with conviction and simplicity, underscoring the personal nature of the message. In contrast, “Radar” is a high-energy, hardcore performance that recalls Papa San’s pre-conversion dancehall days, marked by rapid-fire lyrical delivery and intensity that longtime listeners will immediately recognize.

“No Flesh” brings a modern dancehall sound paired with a timely spiritual message. On the track, Papa San addresses the dangers of relying on human weakness, openly referencing struggles such as lust and pride while emphasizing the need for spiritual discipline. “Don’t Worry” provides musical balance on the EP, offering a smooth, inspirational reggae groove centered on God’s reassurance and comfort in times of uncertainty.

The project also showcases stylistic variety with “Stay True,” a vocal-forward, almost a cappella track where minimal instrumentation allows the message to take center stage. Here, Papa San encourages listeners to remain faithful, affirming that God will open doors in due time. The EP closes with “Fill Me Up,” a traditional reggae-gospel song that reinforces themes of surrender and devotion.

My Worship is Papa San’s first EP release. The project is available now on all major streaming platforms.
