The benevolent arm of Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC), COGIC Charities, will host its annual highlight — the Presiding Bishop’s “We Care” Banquet — a gala fundraiser designed to support disaster relief, scholarships, and human-service outreach domestically and globally.

Founded in 2002 by then-Presiding Bishop G.E. Patterson to serve as the church’s official philanthropic initiative, COGIC Charities has since mobilised aid to communities affected by disaster, poverty and educational need.

This year’s Banquet will take place on Saturday, November 8, starting at 3 p.m. It will be held at the Renasant Convention Center (Grand Ballroom), located at 255 N. Main Street, Memphis, TN. The musical guest is award-winning gospel artist VaShawn Mitchell, with guest speaker Dr. Frederick D. Haynes. Click here for tickets.
