Fredrick McGregor, publicly known as Freddie McGregor, will host a large-scale birthday party on Sunday, June 29, at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater, located at 20405 Amphitheater Circle in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition to celebrating Freddie McGregor‘s 69th birthday, this event will also highlight his decades-long career as a distinguished ambassador of reggae music.
The team at Big Ship, Freddie McGregor‘s label, has invited some of the most prominent names in the reggae-dancehall industry to join Freddie for this special occasion. Performances will feature Hopeton Lindo, Anthony B, Spragga Benz, Mykal Rose, Chino McGregor, Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor, Perfect Giddimani, Teflon, and Frisco Kid.
It should be noted that additional artists may be added; however, as of this writing on May 27th, all the aforementioned artists have been confirmed. Advance tickets, priced at $50, are available at caribtix.com.
