On Thursday, February 27, Orville Richard Burrell, professionally known as Shaggy, surprised everyone with the release of a reggae collaboration done with none other than English musician, activist, and actor Sting.
The track, titled “Til A Mawnin,” accentuates the role of sound systems and dancehall parties in Jamaican music. The official video, which came out on the same day as the audio, was filmed at an actual street dance and shows both men performing in front of large speakers.
“Til A Mawnin” is on Shaggy‘s Ranch Entertainment label and the independent Caribbean-owned imprint VP Records. If you have not yet seen it, click here or on the image above to watch the video, and remember to like, comment, and share.
