Jamaican singer Alaine has released her latest single, “Yes I,” a faith-centered reggae track that offers expression of gratitude to God for His goodness, guidance and protection. Released on September 11, 2026, the song was produced by Seanizzle and Sasha Maya Benjamin, with Alaine Laughton credited as the songwriter.

Inspired by the spirit of Psalm 143:10, “Yes I” has the feel of a personal prayer, with Alaine reflecting on God’s faithfulness and acknowledging His presence through life’s challenges. The accompanying official music video, available on Alaine’s YouTube channel, provides a beautiful visual representation of the song’s message.

Throughout the video, Alaine appears nicely dressed in three distinct outfits across three different settings. One scene takes place on the beach, while another appears to be set in a colorful garden surrounded by bright flowers. The third setting places her aboard a boat, literally surrounded by the sea. Saxophonist Daniel Richards, known as Richie Sax, also appears alongside Alaine in some scenes.

Directed by Gavin Palmer of GavMazing Collective, with Sasha Maya Benjamin serving as Creative Director and Courtney Russell as Director of Photography, the video combines striking natural settings with Alaine’s elegant presentation. The result is a fitting visual companion to “Yes I,” capturing the song’s spirit of faith, appreciation and thanksgiving.

Legendary British roots reggae band Steel Pulse will continue their Reggae Against Racism – World Tour with an extensive run of North American performances throughout October. The tour celebrates more than five decades of music and activism from one of reggae’s most influential bands.

The October schedule begins October 1 at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California, followed by stops in Stateline, Avila Beach, Napa and Redway before moving north to Oregon and Idaho. The band will then travel through Montana, Utah and Nevada before returning to California for performances in San Diego, Long Beach and Rocklin.

Steel Pulse will close out the October run with three Hawaii performances: October 23 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, October 24 at the A&B Amphitheatre in Kahului, and October 25 at KB Extreme in Kailua-Kona.
