On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the “Glory to God in the Highest: Hope Rising” gospel concert and national prayer gathering will take place at the Discovery Bay Community Centre and Recreational Grounds.

The evening concert runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., featuring performances from Sister Arlene, Petra Kaye, Kukudoo, Aaron Miller, Bro Delli, and the Unity Singers. Prior to the main event, children can enjoy dedicated entertainment starting at 2:00 p.m.

A national prayer segment is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., led by several pastors and church leaders, including Bishop Benbow of Zion New Testament Church of Christ the Redeemer, Rev. Kadian Smith of Old Folly NTCOG, Rev. Philbert Whynn of Browns Town United, Rev. Patrick Hibbert of Runaway Bay Moving COG, and Rev. Havar Hunter of Pentecostal City Mission.

The programme will be guided by a team of dynamic hosts—Markland Edwards, Marsha Ali Purple, and MC Teddy—with livestreaming provided by Info Media.

In support of families affected by Hurricane Melissa, attendees are encouraged to participate in the event’s “Food Drive” by contributing items or whatever they can afford.
