Legendary Jamaican reggae group The Congos will bring their roots sound to EMB Sannois on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Known for their captivating harmonies and spiritual energy, The Congos remain one of the few reggae bands still performing in their original formation since the 1970s. Their concerts are celebrations of Rastafarian culture, unity, and faith.
Comprising Cedric Myton, Ashanti Roy, Watty Burnett, and the newest member Talash, The Congos continue to embody the true essence of roots reggae. Their enduring popularity stems from their classic album “Heart of the Congos”, recorded at Lee “Scratch” Perry’s legendary Black Ark Studio. The album features reggae gems such as “La La Bam Bam”, “Open the Gate”, “Congo Man”, and the iconic “Fisherman”, which Rolling Stone recognized as one of the top ten reggae songs of all time.
The concert will take place at 2 Rue du Président Georges Pompidou, Sannois, France, with doors opening at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available at €28 in presale, €26 for reduced rate, and €24 for Carte Jeune Fan holders. Please note that a €2 surcharge applies on the night of the event. Click here to buy tickets.
