New Club Dedicated to Jamaican Culture Opens in Madrid

Madrid is welcoming a new venue dedicated to Jamaican culture with the launch of Jamaikas Club, opening on October 4, 2025. The club is located at Fabrika, Camino de Hormigueras, 142, and promises to be a hub for authentic Jamaican music and community in the Spanish capital.

The grand opening doubles as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the UK’s Chalice Sound, a milestone event powered by the Roots Rockers Sound System. The lineup features a blend of international talent: legendary UK producers Mafia & Fluxy, Japanese saxophonist Megumi Mesaku (Miss Megoo), and veteran reggae artist Horace Martin, known as the “Watermelon Man.” Martin is currently promoting his single Married Man from the 2 Time 2 Riddim project produced by Tasjay Productions.

Doors open at 9:00 PM, with heavyweight sound system sessions, 100% vinyl selections, and appearances by special guests setting the tone for what the organizers describe as “the place for Jamaican culture” in Madrid.
