The city of Boston is preparing to host the 25th annual Boston Gospel Fest, presented by Mayor Michelle Wu. This milestone celebration will take place at the Leader Bank Pavilion, one of the city’s premier outdoor amphitheaters located at 290 Northern Avenue. The festival is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with doors opening an hour earlier at 4 p.m.
Boston Gospel Fest has long been recognized as one of New England’s most anticipated celebrations of faith and music, bringing together gospel enthusiasts, families, and communities for an evening of uplifting performances. Headlining the 2025 edition is the legendary John P. Kee, a gospel icon whose soulful voice and dynamic ministry have inspired audiences worldwide for decades.
