“Sunny Day,” the beautiful new song and video from Antigua’s Reggae Ambassador Causion, has officially launched on all major streaming platforms. It celebrates the stunning beauty of Antigua’s white-sand beaches and golden sunsets, and comes just in time for the 2025 summer season, giving vacationers a great option for their solstice getaway.

Antigua is one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations, boasting upscale beach resorts, flavorful restaurants, vibrant arts and culture community, and easy flights from many major cities. The country’s stunning aesthetics and warmth can be felt while listening to “Sunny Day,” which has been described as an enchanting reggae record. 

“Sunny Day was inspired by love. Love of the sun, sand, sea and people that make Antigua so special,” said Causion. He goes on to say: “Sunny Day is about romance and positivity. We all need a reason to smile, and Sunny Day will have you dancing on the sand and loving life. Antigua is my sunny day.” 

The official music video for “Sunny Day” was filmed at Galley Bay Resort and Spa, one of the island’s most desirable hotels featuring Michelin-caliber dining, stylish beachfront suites, and incredible sunsets.

This project marks Causion’s third musical collaboration with Elite Island Resorts, one of the Caribbean’s most successful all-inclusive hospitality groups. “Sunny Day captures the essence of Antigua,” said Larry Basham, Chief Operating Officer of Elite Island Resorts. He added: “the song and video are inspirational and aspirational—in line with our commitment to sharing amazing Caribbean travel experiences by working with iconic local artists like Causion.” 
 
In 2022, Causion and Elite released their debut collaborative effort, “Antigua Me Come From.” The song quickly became a staple at international travel and trade shows, and local events like Antigua carnival and Sailing Week. The following year, both brands released “Caribbean Vacation,” which has become one of the best performing Caribbean music videos of all time with over one million views on YouTube and tens of thousands of views on Elite’s viewing platforms.
 
In 2024, following his collaborations with Elite Island Resorts, and a lifetime of musical accomplishment, the government of Antigua and Barbuda honored Causion by bestowing the title of Commander of the Most Precious Order of Princely Heritage—one of the country’s highest national awards.
