Dollarman‘s new single “Where Did Time Go” is out now, having launched on all streaming platforms on May 1st, 2025. This track reflects his introspective contemplation of time’s fleeting nature.
Inspired by the inevitability of aging, Dollarman shares his thoughts with clarity: “Time is more valuable than gold.” He elaborates that during his youth, the concept of time felt abundant; however, as he has matured, this perception has shifted dramatically. Through this song, he invites listeners to acknowledge that while the mind can revisit past moments freely, the body is bound by the constraints of nature. “Time is the master. Not man,” he asserts—emphasizing a theme that resonates universally.
In crafting “Where Did Time Go,”Dollarman not only wrote and performed the lyrics but also contributed musically by playing both drums and bass. He collaborated with Miguel Williams (aka LJ) on keyboards, Kevin Bachelor on trumpet, and co-producer Bernard Joseph (aka IOBI), who added guitar elements to enrich the composition.
Dollarman hopes that listeners will glean a profound message from his work: “After listeners hear this track, I would like for them to realize that we as human beings own nothing on this planet… Any possessions are just temporary.” This reflection serves as a reminder that while material wealth may be pursued throughout life, it ultimately possesses us rather than vice versa. In essence, life itself is portrayed as a transient gift—meant to be cherished rather than hoarded.
