Chuck Fenda Will Headline The Derby Caribbean Carnival On July 21st

The annual Derby Caribbean Carnival, one of the city’s liveliest events, is set to return on July 21st. Hosted by the Derby West Indian Community Association (DWICA), with support from the Arts Council England, this jamboree is not just a celebration for Antillians, but it also fosters unity and togetherness among residents of all backgrounds.

The parade will start at 1:00 p.m. It will go through the city centre, up St Peter’s Street, Babington Lane, Normanton Road, Pear Tree Road, Portland Street, Osmaston Park Road, and Moor Lane, before arriving at Osmaston Park.

Once at the park, there will be a major stage show with performances by both local and national acts. Jamaican reggae artist Chuck Fenda is the headliner.
