Roots-Reggae Producer Josh Harris Now Working On His Own Album

After consistently producing and releasing music performed by artists like Hugh English, Fantan Mojah, Duane Stephenson, Macka B, Ce’cile, Bushman, Natural Black, Lutan Fyah, Junior Kelly, Anthony B, Tony Curtis, Mykal Rose, and many others, Josh Harris has decided to turn his attention to his own album.

In a private conversation with Maria Jackson 27, the California-based music creative said that he is taking a break from producing for others so that he can complete his not-yet-titled LP. Not wanting to say too much, Harris shared that it will feature several collaborations, and will also encompass multiple musical styles.

Some familiar names that have contributed their talents so far are Santa Davis, Tommi Tikkenen, Greg Douglass, Harmonique, Glen Ricks, Ricky McLeod, and Nikki Burt. As for the release date, he is not yet sure, however, the hope is to have it ready before the end of 2024.

The name Josh Harris has become synonymous with authentic roots-reggae music ever since he started his independent label, Big Feet Records, in 2019.
