International reggae artist, Richie Spice, was unable to perform at the Islington Assembly Hall (Upper Street) in London, UK on Thursday, July 4th, as the artist was not paid by the promoter.

On the day of the show a frustrated Richie Spice took to social media and wrote the following: “Blessings my London peeps please accept my apologies but I could not perform tonight because certain obligations weren’t fulfilled by the promoter and his team I’ve been here at the venue waiting to give y’all a great show but until next time love always 🙏🏽”

  2. Yes. Get the reason, if not being paid by the Promoter. But that’s what you sort out well before the event. Fans, and we are big time into your music Mr Spice, have been for years. reaching the venue, getting up to 22.00 show time. Then being told you will not be performing is just not right. Being honest, OK, I don’t know the exact circumstances. But if I was in your position, I would have agreed and lead the band out there to do the show. Otherwise you have let your fans down. I haven’t felt like playing a Richie Spice tune since. Will cool down.
