JR Productions presents the One Blood Music Festival on May 23rd and 24th, 2018. Confirmed artists include: Capleton, Luciano, Bounty Killer, Popcaan, Dre Island, Fantan Mojah, Louie Culture, Junior Reid, Sizzla, Richie Stephens, Richie Spice, Little John and that is just to name a few.
On May 23rd the event will be held at the Dunrobin football field, while on May 24th it will be at Balmagie Primary School field (both located in Kingston, Jamaica).
Memorial day weekend will be on fire in Brooklyn, New York, as Anthony B will be bringing his red hot energy to the city. The artist is confirmed to perform at Milk River – located at 960 Atlantic Avenue – on Saturday, May 26th. He will be supported by a slew of emerging artists, DJs and sound systems.
Advance tickets are now on sale for $20 USD via Eventbrite, and the promoters are making it clear that it will be more expensive at the door. Doors will open and 9 PM.
On Tuesday, May 22nd, recording artist Ruach Ru and her backing band, Spirit, will do a live set on Jamaica’s Kool 97 FM. The artist will be featured on the station’s popular program, ‘Live Tuesdays,’ which is known for highlighting trending emerging artists.
Ruach Ru is currently on a mini media tour. She recently appeared on Portmore’s #1 radio station, Suncity, as well as on Mega Jamz 98 FM’s ‘Rep Vibz Muss Buss Artiste Feature.’ Since her tour started at the beginning of May, she has done a slew of interviews; her appearance on Kool 97 FM will be the first live performance on the tour.

On June 16th, Energy Promotions, in collaboration with Guinness will be hosting the St. Ann’s Reggae in the Park stage show. The event will feature performances from Bush Man, Etana, Richie Spice, Peas Head, Snatcha Lion and Little Hero. Backing band for the evening will be Yard Rootz Band with master of ceremony, Big A (from Irie FM).

The original Queen of Soca, Alison Hinds, will be performing at Soca on the Beach,
which will be held at Shore Club Beach in Turks & Caicos on June 30th. The event
starts at 1:00 PM and will feature a slew of local and international soca stars.
Three-time GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter Jill Scott will be heading out on the road this summer. The artist is confirmed for 13 cities, making stops in both Canada and the United States. The tour, which is dubbed ‘Live in the moment,’ will kick off on Thursday, June 21st at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN.
