UK based CeeBee Multimedia, a member of the Chaaawaaa Radio Station, has named Jamaican reggae singer, Ruach Ru, International Artist Of The Month for May 2018. CEO and owner for the station, Lady Lex, has also expressed full endorsement for the singer and her career.
The accolade was earned as result of the success of Ruach Ru’s single Mr. Player Man, as well as her commitment to the production and promotion of good reggae music. The announcement was made a couple weeks ago via CeeBee Multimedia’s facebook page. Once the announcement was made the Chaaawaaa Radio Station began the process of arranging a live interview with the artist to discuss this and other achievements. Interview date and time will be shared shortly.
Jamaican Gospel Reggae/Dancehall artist, Chevelle Franklyn, will be performing on the Caribbean Holy Ghost Festival in Trinidad & Tobago on June 20th, 2018. The artist will be joining Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Positive, Blessed Messenger, Tosin Bee and Mita at the Shaw Park Complex in Scarborough, Tobago.
This event is free to the public. The gates will open at 4pm EST, but the actual show will not start until 6pm EST.

The Caribbean Village Festival‘s 2018 Media Launch takes place on Thursday, May 31st at Donna’s Restaurant, located at 5434 N. University Blvd, Lauderhill, FL. The reception will begin sharply at 7 PM with complimentary drinks and food sponsored by Donna’s Restaurant.
All Media Houses and Taste-makers are invited to attend and learn more about the festival, plus Meet & Greet event organizers, city commissioners, and performers Kymani Marley and Kevin Lyttle.
The king of lovers-rock, Beres Hammond, has done it again! The singer released a new single titled “I’m Alive” earlier this month, and the song is already getting heavy rotation on reggae platforms all over the world.
Released with three different mixes: reggae, dancehall and dub, “I’m Alive” is more of a reality song in which Beres is giving thanks for life. It is now available for streaming and download on all digital music stores.
Windsor’s Caribbean Roots & Rhythm Music Festival takes place on Friday, July 27th and 28th at Windsor’s Riverside Festival Plaza . The event will showcase a wide variety of music, food, arts and crafts from the Caribbean.
There will be live performances from soca sensations Rupee and Alison Hinds; while Third World and Glen Washington will serve up some roots rocking reggae.

Established reggae artist Turbulence has collaborated with emerging roots singer Likkle Lightning on the remix of Likkle Lightning’s track, Early Morning Flash. The original version of the song is on the Conditions of Life album, which was released in January, 2017 on the Sonhi Production label.
Having shared the stage with Turbulence on a number of occasions, in both the United States and Africa, Likkle Lightning considers the artist a true friend in the industry. As such, he initiated the idea of a collaboration, which resulted in the Early Morning Flash Remix.
