Jamaican song-bird, Etana, continues to surge as she carves a path for her dominant role as a female vocalist within the reggae industry. Prior to the corona virus pandemic, which halted the movement of virtually everyone, Etana was in the midst of a world tour. Once covid-19 became a reality however, she simply changed her focus and turned her attention to other areas as opposed to stopping.
That being said, on Friday, April 17th Etana released the official video for her song Truly. The record was initially shared in mid March and proved to be just what we needed as we’re locked up at home with our significant other. On Sunday, April 26th, Jamaica’s Health & Wellness Minister, Dr. Chris Tufton, will be having a digital town-hall centered around the spread of the corona virus on the island. He will be joined by gospel recording artist Kevin Downswell, as the government wants to ensure that the nation’s Christian community are kept informed. Last week a similar event was held with a secular artist.
