Biggy Music’s latest project is a Reggae compilation featuring four beautiful tracks. He calls the project THE REVOLT EXPERIENCE and says that it is his contribution to Reggae Month (which is now being celebrated in Jamaica).

THE REVOLT EXPERIENCE features “can’t take Jah away” by Deep Jahi, “carry me thru” by Nagas, “ex-man” by Bugle and “hard ears” by Bushman. All four tracks are powerful in their own right and a sincere pleasure to listen to. The CEO and owners of Jam Yard Promotion were overjoyed after what they call “a night to remember. “

On Saturday February 7th 2015 all true Reggae lovers poured into the Voxhall venue in Aarhus to witness what can only be described as an exquisite night. The event was to celebrate the 70th birthday of one of Jamaica’s icon, Robert Nesta Marley. The show was planned, promoted and executed effectively leaving the promoters feeling both elated and appreciative.

When asked what he has to say now that the event is over and done, one of the members of Jam Yard, Henzel Clarke said;

“Jam Yard would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all the Bob Marley Reggae fans that came to participate in the legends 70th birthday celebration at Voxhall. The mood, vibes and energy was positive from beginning to end.

Omar Perry

DJALA AFRO BEAT performance was fuse with chants, dance and drum beats of Africa. Special shout to out POPS JABU an entertainer and musical maestro in his own rights (a man with Zulu Roots). He prepared the backing band, set up all the rehearsals, encouraged and helped the kids to stay focus and brought out the natural musical talents they have inside. Furthermore he gave a whooping energetic performance that had Voxhall begging for more.

Omar Perry did not disappoint he came, he saw, and delivered a fire performance “Bun Dung Voxhall” and had the audience on their feet with hits after hits. At the end he had time to interact, take pictures and sign autographs with the fans. He is a wonderful and down to earth brother and Reggae musician. He brought out the best from Jam Yard’s young reggae band.

GOSPEL DANCEHALL ARTIST MARKEV GOES HARD ON NEW SINGLE (@PeteisMarkev)

11On his new single “any and anyhow”, Dancehall gospel artist Markev goes hard with both his flow and his message.

Lyrically the artist seems to be upset with himself for praising God in a half hazard manner despite all the blessings he’s got. In the chorus he says “me a praise any and anyhow, and a praise any and anyhow, look how much things you done for me and me a praise you any and anyhow.” Throughout the track he switches between chastising himself and others who may be doing the same things he is.

The beat which is simply sweet (if you are into hardcore Dancehall rhythms) was produced by Rolando Blake. There are added vocals by a female singer (not sure of her name) that really compliments the sound of the overall track. Check out the song here:

POPE FRANCIS HIRES THE AUTHOR OF HARRY POTTER TO REWRITE THE BIBLE

10Pope Francis has hired famous and revered children’s author JK Rowling to rewrite the Bible. For those not familiar with JK Rowling, she is a British novelist best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series. The books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, and sold more than 400 million copies. They have become the best-selling book series in history and have been the basis for a series of films which became the highest-grossing film series in history.

It is being reported that a source close to the pope said that the reason for rewriting the Bible is because “sales of the Jesus Christ action figure have dropped by over 200% in the last 10 years, they are in need of new, compelling and toy-friendly characters…like the dinosaur in Toy Story.”

MJ Magazine thought it important to share this story because according to Black Demographic dot com, 83% of Black Americans are Christians and the numbers increase dramatically in the Caribbean.
