Red Rat Releases New Music Aimed At Mr. Vegas (@RedRatLife @MrVegasMusic)

00redratwordpressAfter releasing a video explaining his side of the now public feud with Mr. Vegas, Red Rat has released a track entitled ‘pray for bad mind.’ And although Mr. Vegas name was not mentioned at all on the record, it is obvious that the conflict between the two men is what inspired the song.

On a more positive note, fans of Red Rat should be happy that he is engaged in what we hope is an intense musical war, because that would mean lots of new music from the double R leader. ‘Pray for bad mind’ shows that Red Rat is still very lyrical. Check out the track here, and remember to share.

Mikey General Releases New Music On The Ganja Morning Riddim (@MikeyGeneral7 @GreenLionCrew)

00-mikeygeneralOn September 18th, Green Lion Crew returned with their latest release the Ganja Morning Riddim. This six track EP is based around the 1979 classic underground reggae track “Weed Fields” by Desi Roots. Recorded primarily in Kingston Jamaica, Green Lion’s infectious production style combines timeless dub and reggae that are rooted in traditional techniques. However, by incorporating elements of EDM and Hip Hop, the tracks challenge the status quo of everyday reggae “riddim” releases.

The EP contains two hard hitting vocal tracks, three trippy phaser heavy dub mixes, and an instrumental version. The Ganja Morning Riddim features artists King Mas (USA), reggae veteran Mikey General (JA), & Mr Williamz (UK).

Omi’s official music video for his new single “Hula Hoop” (@omimusiconline)

00-omi-hula-hoop-videoJamaican singer Omi premiered the official music video for his new single “Hula Hoop”, which is lifted from his forthcoming debut album “Me 4 U”, on Wednesday, September 16th. “Hula Hoop” is the official follow-up single to Omi’s US #1 hit, “Cheerleader”.

“Hula Hoop” is another reggae-dance upbeat record from Omi that will certainly make listeners feel like it’s still summer. The official “Hula Hoop” music video sees Omi hosting auditions to choose the group of talented and beautiful ladies that will star in his “much-talked-about” “Hula Hoop” clip. Eventually, the selected few will put on some Rio de Janeiro festival-like costumes for the video shoot, and Omi will throw a house party nobody will be able to forget.
