Less than a month after the re-release of “In Common,” the lead single from recording artiste Thriller U first album in years, Nyah Bless Music is at it again with another bombshell single that has begun to create waves within the industry.

This time, Thriller U delivers a classic entitled “Non Genuine.”  The track was released on February 21st and is available on ITunes and on all major digital platforms.  Built by Franz Ace, the riddim track is one of several put together specifically for the album.  Although the connections have seen a definite boost since the release, they are pushing to keep the reviews on an upward trend.

In a release to the media, Hopeton Brown, CEO of Nyah Bless Music, spoke about Thriller U’s upcoming album.  “We spent the latter part of last year building riddims to ensure a Grammy type production.  Regardless, without adequate promotion the music will go nowhere.  To that end, we have acquired the services of several notable PR firms to ensure the music is available to the public.”

“Non Genuine,” produced by Hopeton Brown, is based on the artiste true life experience about a love relationship between two people based on a foundation of lies and deceit. Plans are currently underway for the video shoot scheduled for the end of March in Jamaica.

Thriller U recently returned to Jamaica after an appearance on the ‘Love and Harmony Cruise 2017’ and is available for media interviews.  For all inquiries, please contact Nyah Bless Music at (215) 888-8432 or nyahblessmusic@gmail.com.

Very few artist have the ability to capture the imagination of an audience in today’s content driven society and the Iconic GRAMMY Award-winning Morgan Heritage have produced a two-part series into the making of the new album that has done that and with music lovers across the globe. The album name, Avrakedabra, and its mystical album cover artwork had been kept a secret leading up to the “Journey Into” video series when part one dropped last week at Huffington Post and is continued this week on Yahoo! Music. Already garnering top-tier worldwide attention, Avrakedabra will be released on May 19th, 2017 with pre-orders going live on March 17th.

Part two of the series dives deeper into the roots of the band, and the special bond the family shares. The Morgan legacy has remained strong from the initial success of Denroy Morgan’s “I’ll Do Anything For You” Billboard chart topping hit record, all the way down to the latest release from Jemere Morgan, who is the son of Gramps in the group. The Morgan family has remained busy laying down the foundation, and paving the future for Reggae music. True to Huffington Post’s claim of “Reggae history in the making,” Avrakedabra will represent Reggae from its roots, to the present, the future, and beyond by mixing in fresh modern styles with timeless elements of Reggae.

The album, which is their best work to date, will play host to some heavyweight featured appearances. With Kabaka Pyramid and Dre Island leading the front for the younger generation, multi-GRAMMY Award-winning Ziggy Marley and Stephen Marley also lend their talents to the collaborative mix. GRAMMY, Emmy, and Dove Award-winning producer Shannon Sanders guides the group’s vision behind the mixing console. Avrakedabra will mark a new era for the group, as the main production team slimmed down to a power trio of Peetah, Mojo, and Gramps.

Be sure to be on the lookout for more info on Avrakedabra in the coming weeks as the band gears up for the Avrakedabra World Tour

JAMMS is about to enter another important phase in its growth as a rights management organization.

They have been managing the rights of Record Producers for the past 10 years; however, they are now about to cover a wider range of rights-owners.

In a short while, JAMMS will begin managing the rights of Performers alongside their current management of Record Producers Rights. Performers as used here means Artists and Musicians.

They know that that there are some persons who may wear more than one cap where music is concerned and so for example there may be Record Producers who are also Performers. This means very soon JAMMS will be able to cover that individual as both a Producer and Performer.

It is necessary to point out however that some persons roles may or may not extend into other areas of music, for example, a Record Producer may also be a Composer or an Artist may also be a Songwriter.

JAMMS however WILL NOT be managing rights for ALL these various different rights-owners. The law does not allow a Collecting Society to manage rights which another Collecting Society is established to manage.

To be very clear, by JAMMS now taking on the management of Artists and Musicians Rights, it WILL NOT affect the rights managed by JACAP.

JACAP manages the rights of Songwriters, Composers and Publishers. Under the copyright laws these are different rights-owners from Artists and Musicians. In other words, persons who wear the cap of Artists and Musicians will come to JAMMS for representation while persons who wear the cap of Songwriters and Composers will continue to go to JACAP for representation.
