Two R&B giants: Musiq Soulchild and Fantasia will be performing at the Santander Performing Arts Center (136 N 6th St, Reading) in Pennsylvania on February 24th. Tickets for this event can be purchased via Ticketmaster with price ranging from approximately $45 to $300.
It is always beautiful to see honest, authentic artists get acknowledged for their craft. Rapsody is undoubtedly one of the most underrated MC in the hip-hop genre. She’s been in the game for years and unfortunately she’s been over looked far too often. That being said, we were excited to learn that she is finally being recognized for her contribution to the rap game.
Rapsody is nominated, not once but twice for the 2018 Grammy’s. She is nominated in the following categories: Best Rap Song (“Sassy” — Gabouer & M. Evans, songwriters: Rapsody) and Best Rap Album (Laila’s Wisdom — Rapsody).

Techniques Records was the brain child of the late Winston Riley. Though he was the face of the label, behind‐the‐scenes his sons: Kurt “DJ Kurt Riley” and Andre “DJ Dre Stylez” Riley were adding their own flavor. The pair reached international success with Charly Black’s Gyal You A Party Animal on the Jambe‐An Riddim in 2014.

Friday, December 15th will see a slew of top-tier reggae / dancehall artists converging in Buff Bay, Portland, Jamaica. This is all in honor of Mr. Portland aka Daryl Vaz’s birthday celebration. Confirmed acts includes: Bounty Killer, Romaine Virgo, Ken Boothe, Bugle, Louie Culture, I-Wayne and that is just to name a few. Musical juggling will be provided by Swatch International and Lil Richie.
It all goes down at the Lynch Park in Buff Bay. Admission is free and all are invited.
On Saturday, December 16th, international roots reggae artist Richie Spice will lend his talent to a worthy cause. He will be performing at Troy & Arlean’s annual Holiday Give Back. This event takes place at the Dry River Square in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Also joining him will be Iyara, Dre Tosh and Kalla Shea.
In addition to the live show, there will be free kids treat, lots of games, free giveaways, free food and much more. Proceeds from this event will go towards assisting schools in both St. Elizabeth and St. James.

Earlier this year, popular Canadian rap artist UZMAN joined forces with Jamaican dancehall group Nuh Limit Family to record and release a single titled “Rolling High.” Though it’s a typical weed song, “Rolling High” got a lot of attention early on because it was released during a time when the legalization and open use of marijuana was an ongoing topic in both Jamaica and North America.
Fast forward to approximately nine months later and the song is now getting steady rotation on some of the biggest dancehall radio shows on the island. As a result of its increasing popularity, UZMAN and the Nuh Limit Family recently got together to shoot the official video, which will be shared publicly on December 11th.
