International recording artist Gyptian will make his return to the popular music venue, Moe’s Alley (located at 1535 Commercial Way) in Santa Cruz, California on Friday, October 11th. He will be supported by Kava Jah and DJ Spleece.
Advance tickets for this event are going for $25 USD; it will be $30 USD on the day of the show.
Indian band, Sirens of Shanti, which is based in Toronto, Canada, has released a Bhangra mix of Rita Marley’s popular hit “One Draw.” Done in their native tongue, the song also features a couple verses from Jamaican dancehall artist Karamanti.
Composer, songwriter, singer and performer, Clinton Fearon, will be live at the Flamingo Cantina (515 East 6th Street) in Austin, Texas on Friday, September 13th. He will be supported by Cas Haley.

Dancehall and Afro-beat artist, Aurelia Dey, has been nominated in two major categories by the Scandinavian Afrobeats Music Awards. The Ghanaian singer is up for both ‘Best Female Artist‘ and ‘Best Stage Performance.‘
The Scandinavian Afrobeats Music Awards will be held at Subtopia (located at Rotemannavägen 10, 14557 Norsborg) in Stockholms Län, Sweden on May 4th.

On Friday, May 3rd, Gospel FM Jamaica will be hosting the 2019 staging of their Gospel Reload concert. Artists that are confirmed for this year are: Kevin Downswell, Dian Barnett, Rhoda Isabella, Adrian Cunningham, Jabez, Lubert Levy, Kevin Heath, Raylene Lindo and that is just to name a few.
Gospel Reload will be held at the National Arena from 7 PM until … Pre-sold tickets, which are currently on sale at various locations in and around Kingston, are going for $2,000 JMD.
Crystal Reid is a wife to one, a mother of two, a sister and a friend. She is also a singer, performer, songwriter and most importantly, a lover of God. Born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, Crystal grew up in St. Catherine but moved to Kingston at age 17. She has been singing since the age of two and did her first real performance at the tender age of twelve, while at her grade six graduation at the White Marl Primary and Junior High School.
She considers herself a product of purpose, greatness and love, because she has passed through so many ABC’s (Abused, Belittlement and chastisement) in life, that the only reason she is still standing is because of God’s grace. Music plays a key role in Crystal‘s life as it helps her to release stress, remain calm through any situation and draws her closer to God. Most of her music is a testament of what God has brought her through and what He is currently doing in her life.
Her discography includes: “Thank you Lord” and “Jesus lover of my soul,”recorded in October, 2015, with production credits for both songs going to Cameron Browne; “Thou Art Holy,” which was released earlier this year (produced by Emmanuel Mike) and “I’m not giving up,” a record done in collaboration with gospel recording artist Keesa Peart, which is all about abuse and disappointments she suffered as a youth growing up in Jamaica. Crystal is currently in the process of producing her first debut album which is entitled “Thank you Lord.”

Lions Club Of Tropical Gardens presents an event called “For The Love Of Humanity,” featuring a live performance by Jamaican gospel star Kevin Downswell. It will take place at the Lions Community Center (Grand Cayman Islands) on Saturday, April 13th.
Some local guest artists will also be on the show, namely: Omar Walters, Opal Stewarts, Sylvia Wilks, Williams Quartet, Red Bay Gospel Band and Shanda Gallego.
With regular tickets going for $30 at the gate and $50 for VIP, The organizers are hoping to raise funds for a Diabetes education and awareness program.
