Though the song sets life as a movie in which each actor doubles as a lead and director, Karamanti was quick to draw the rhetoric that life is really ongoing and indeed not a movie you can pause.This is a song that identifies much of modern life’s routines as artificial and sadly false. ‘IT’S A LIE’ is a song that encourages its audience to turn away from the norm of following other people’s dreams, to staying focused on one’s own purpose in life.

Karamanti is getting set for her second European tour which runs from November 1st to December 31st 2014. The artist is being hosted by Jam Yard Entertainment, a Jamaican owned promotion company based in Aarhus Denmark. So far she is confirmed to perform in Italy, Denmark and Czech Republic (various cities). One of Montreal’s most popular Reggae events is MTL Dub Session. It is a bi-weekly show that features Reggae and Dub artists as well as sound systems from all over the world. It was started by Saxemard Mikael of Blackout Sound System.

On Thursday, October 2^nd, Karamanti (from Jamaica) and Sista Ozaya (from France) will be the featured artists at MTL Dub Session. For her part, Karamanti promises a solid set and will be premiering some new Reggae tracks not yet released. Patrons can also expect to hear her latest single “HOLD ON” which is doing great in Montreal. See official video for “HOLD ON” here 

MTL Dub Session is held every 1^st and 3^rd Thursday of the month at Passport Bar located at 2037 St-Denis in Montreal. Entrance is $5CDN after 11pm (free before).

Reggae/Dancehall artist Karamanti has finally released the official video for her track “Hold On” which is on the Life Triangle Riddim by Rhome Records. The video was shot in Water House, Kingston, Jamaica and it features Jamaican actress/model Mishka Mishi Blake.

Life Triangle Riddim was released approximately three months ago with songs from Khago, D’Koncept, DJ Rhome, Karamanti and others. Persons may watch the official video for “Hold On” here

Willing Wanna, an Afro-Pop and Dancehall artist based in West Africa has collaborated with Jamaica’s reality speaker, Karamanti for a new song and video. Teddy Ziggy, the recording artist who hails from Benin-City, Edo, Nigeria, just released a single with female Jamaican artist, Karamanti. The song is entitled “Stand United” and it calls on Africans at home and in the Diaspora to unite. 

On Thursday, August 21^st the popular live show series Reggae to Reggae will welcome performances by Karamanti (the reality speaker), Redeem and Tranquility. Reggae To Reggae is a weekly live band show which features a wide variety of conscious artists from Jamaica. The event is held every Thursday at Comfitanya Lounge (located at 169 Mountain View, above the National Stadium).

The concert is free to the public and is also streamed live online at www.reggaetoreggae.com for persons who are unable to attend. Doors open at 8:30 PM and all are invited.
