88 Riddim Release; Releasing First Single by Mr. Melody

cover3-1

YuhSeeYou Productions and Zack Ariyah Productions are two Montreal based labels, whom decided to collaborate on “88 Riddim”. With Zack Ariyah’s beat and the links that both labels bring to the table, the “88 Riddim” project was formed.

The riddim combines Pop and Dancehall elements, creating an original flow that will be loved from music enthusiasts abroad. With voicing of artists still in process, the team decided to release the first single off the compilation “Baby Love” by Florida’s own, Mr. Melody.

Zack Ariyah has been known the last couple of years to release great riddims, hailing from one of Canada’s hardest markets. As recently he released Runaway Riddim featuring Zamunda, Mr. Melody and Jah Torius. He’s also known for releasing hit singles for Deablo and the known collaboration “Owna Gun Them” by Kiprich and Navino.

In 2011, YuhSeeYou Entertainment was one of the hottest media outlets coming out of Canada, supporting Canadian Reggae and Dancehall talent, amongst Jamaican pop culture on a whole. Within that time YuhSeeYou started up their own publicity firm, which fell under the same name, they also released quality productions and collaborated with Montreal promoters on some of the city’s best events. In 2013 they separated the two entities, the public relations aspect than bloomed into Empowerment Media Group and YuhSeeYou Entertainment became YuhSeeYou Productions.

In September 2012, YuhSeeYou Productions released “Havana Sunset Riddim” which featured hot Jamaican talents and some of Canada’s top Dancehall talents. The riddim was distributed by Johnny Wonder and had a strong ZipFm debut with ZJ Dymond, amongst recognition amongst social media outlets, online blogs, and Canadian radio. YuhSeeYou was also behind riddim “Wakefield Riddim” and Warzone Riddim.

“Baby Love” by Mr. Melody is to be released at the beginning of July.

Hit producer Kirk “Kirkledove” Bennett also lends his talent to the production. Minott dons an additional cap as the producer of the album, thereby creating a record exactly as he imagined, and is now gifting to reggae lovers globally.

ZJ Rush to remix Karamanti’s single, “bun Andrew and Portia”

Zip FM’s disc-jock Rush has reached out to Karamanti’s team expressing an interest in remixing the track “bun Andrew and Portia” which is causing quite a bit of controversy because of its message. After receiving the single, ZJ Rush told someone from Karamanti’s camp that although he thinks the song is good as is, he would like to put his own spin on it before adding it to his playlist on Zip FM.

Karamanti has agreed to the remix and has gone a step further by making the raw vocals available for public download so that anyone wanting to remix it may do so.

Likkle Lightning promotes magnum tonic wine

Likkle Lightning promotes magnum tonic wine

Completely changing things around, Likkle Lightning steps away from his usual edutainment style of music to something dedicated entirely to the ladies. “Magnum Tonic Wine” is brand new from camp Lightning and it is a more upbeat, party anthem for Reggae lovers.

On this track, Likkle Lightning likens sex to the popular Jamaican drink, Magnum Tonic Wine, stating that his woman “want her magnum tonic wine fi mek she feel fine.” Like all his other releases, this song was produced by him at Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.
