New York based recording artist, E.G., will be out and about this weekend as he and his team are launching an aggressive street campaign to promote tracks released earlier in the year.

Before expanding his catalogue, the dancehall artist would like potential fans and supporters to know about songs like: Shake It (street and radio mix), Fade Away, Party and Head Gone (both the song and video). Therefore, he will be making an appearance at several events in the NYC area, where he will be meeting people and handing out promo material.

On Saturday, August 24th, there will be an ‘After Carnival Show & Dance’ at Club Empire (103 Empire Blvd. between Bedford and Franklin) in Brooklyn, New York.

Soca artists Tallpree and Skinny Banton will be the main acts for the evening. They will be supported by Boyzie, Inspector, Shortwave, King Black and many more. Early bird tickets are going for $25 USD; it will be more at the door.

The Caribbean Community Council of Calgary presents Carifest 2019, a two-day event with the theme “Stronger Together.” On day two, Saturday, August 17th, there will be a free performance from both Alison Hinds and Patrice Roberts.

This all goes down between 2 – 8 PM at the Shaw Millennium Park, which is located at 1220 9 Avenue SW, Calgary.

On Sunday, July 21st, popular NYC public figure, Riggo Suave, will be celebrating his 30th birthday. He has called on soca star Bunji Garlin, who is expected to perform a full set at the event. This will all take place at 99 Scott Street in Brooklyn from 2 to 9 PM.

TD will be hosting their 2019 Irie Music Festival at Mississauga Celebration Square (across from Square One Shopping Centre) in Ontario on Friday, June 21st (6 PM – 11 PM) and Saturday, June 22nd (1 PM – 11 PM). There will be a slew of musical entertainment but the main highlights are: Junior Reid (Friday) and Farmer Nappy (Saturday).

In addition to the music, there will also be Jerk Food Competition, Caribbean & International Food Vendors, a Beer Garden and a VIP Lounge. This event is free to the public.

Approximately two weeks ago New York based recording artist E.G. shared the radio edit for his latest release, “Shake It.” With a more booming vibe than the street version, the radio edit has an energy that selectors seem to prefer.
