The song is a tribute to the resilience of the Caribbean Spirit in the face of climate change and insurmountable odds that have contributed to the creation of the circumstances that lead to the mega storm, Hurricane Dorian, that impacted and affected Abaco and Grand Bahama; two of the Bahamas’ northern islands.

Jus Blaize presents the 13th anniversary of ‘Remember De Bacchanal’ on Saturday, November 2nd. It will be held at District Lounge, located at 1211 Kingston Road in Pickering, Ontario.

In addition to the music that will be provided by DJ Chief, DJ Nite Rider and Eman, there will also be a live performance by international recording artist Edwin Yearwood. Click here for tickets.

On Friday, November 22nd, one of the most entertaining soca artist, Mr. Killa, will perform at Bliss Lounge (5471 Memorial Drive) in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

On Saturday, October 12th, the popular SOS Fest will take place in Miami, Florida (the exact venue will be announced soon). So far the organizers have confirmed Machel Montano, Ashanti, Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons to the lineup.

Soca Sweetness in association with Toxic Sounds present the annual Weakness 4 Sweetness Boat Cruise, via The River Gambler, on Sunday, September 15th. Boarding will take place at 333 Lakeshore Blvd. E. in Toronto, Ontario and will sail from 1 to 6 PM.

In addition to having some of the best soca selectors on board, there will also be a live performance by St. Lucia’s Teddyson John.
