Catch Farmer Nappy Live In Charlotte On July 2nd

North Carolina will be having a ‘Carolina Island Style‘ Afro-Caribbean experience on the first weekend in July. The three-day event will feature live performances from international artists, top Caribbean DJs and much more!

The festivities will kick off on Friday, July 2nd, with a high energy set by established soca artist Farmer Nappy. ‘Carolina Island Style‘ will take place at Bakadi Lounge, which is located at 4205 Monroe Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Bunji Garlin & Friends To Perform At Soca Yard In Florida On June 27th (@BUNJIGARLIN)

On Sunday, June 27th, Trinidadian soca artist Bunji Garlin and a slew of his Viking friends will perform at Soca Yard in Florida (200 West Broward Blvd., Downtown Ft. Lauderdale) from 5PM to midnight. The event will double as a birthday celebration for Jaime Absolute, popular soca figure and the man behind whyiparty.

Tallpree Added To The Lineup For J’ouvert In June – New York Edition

It has just been announced that Grenadian soca artist Tallpree will join the lineup for J’ouvert In June – New York Edition. The event will be held in Brooklyn on June 19th from 6AM to 3PM (local time). The theme for this year is “water, powder & paint.”

Other artists that have already been confirmed are: Iwer George, Askel Redsquare, Ricky T, Nessa Preppy, Denise Belfon, and that is just to name a few. Tickets for this event are available via eventbrite.

Farmer Nappy & Olatunji Yearwood Among Finalists For ‘The Monarch’

On Friday, February 12th, at exactly 8:00 PM, the International Soca Monarch – the biggest soca competition in Trinidad – will air on TV6. Eleven (11) finalists will compete for the ultimate prize; cash and prizes amounting to over $300,000.

Among this year’s finalists are Blaxx, Farmer Nappy, Olatunji Yearwood, Viking Ding Dong and others.
