On Tuesday (May 26th) Lt. Stitchie was invited on Kool 97 FM’s Mello Mornings with Michael Thompson and Dianne Thomas. The artist was interviewed and he also gave a stellar performance. As he always does, Lt. Stitchie shows why he still is and will always be the lyrical governor, regardless if he is in the dancehall or the church-hall.

Jamaica Tourist Board to giveaway two free tickets to Jamaica at the 2015 Aarhus Reggae Festival (@jam_yard)
After meeting with the CEO/owner of Jam Yard, Henzel Clarke, and learning about all that he’s been doing to build brand Jamaica in Denmark, the Jamaica Tourist Board decided to support the first ever two days Reggae Festival in Aarhus by giving away two return tickets to the island. The tickets will be given away as gate prize and to be eligible persons need to purchase tickets for both days of the event; June 19th and 20th.
For its first staging, the Aarhus Reggae Festival will feature a stellar line up of artists, namely; Natty King, Jah Turban, Empress Omolo, Pops Jabu, Etzia, Alpheus, Lise Ranks, Mwakenya and that is just to name a few. It will run for two days; on June 19th at V58 (Vestergade 58P 8000 Aarhus C) and June 20th at Fonden VoxHall (Vester Allé 15 8000 Aarhus C.).

Osujah Records Supports School in St. Ann, Jamaica (@OsujahRecords @anaicon14)
On the afternoon of Friday May 8th, 2015, New Vision Early Childhood Institution received a visit from Osujah Record’s premier artists Anaicon and Inanny bearing the first monthly gift of much needed school supplies for the institution. A major focus of Osujah’s CEO and bachelor educated registered nurse, Donna Burnett, is environmental and public health.
The Principal Claudette Brown and members of her staff were presented with a months supply of cleaning agents, bleach, soap, and toilet paper by Anaicon and Inanny, in the schools auditorium. Additionally staff and students received Mothers’ Day gifts of their latest album Vibez in the Sun with tracks by Anaicon, Inanny, Ikanji, Ras Preedem, King Kolumn and Lady Donna. The artists, Anaicon and Inanny were well received by staff and students at New Vision Early Childhood Institution where they spent the afternoon interacting with all present.
Anaicon is currently working on his debut album which will be released soon. Anaicon enjoys working with the youths and encourages all young people to take full advantage of the available educational opportunities as “education is the passport to success,” quotation by Malcolm X. Inanny believes that all things are from the earth and that is where all things will return, therefore our strength lies in the yielding of earth’s treasures through farming and the planting of seeds, both literally and metaphorically. Anaicon pledges continued support to local schools and his community in the effort to raise awareness and improve the success rates of our youths, while Inanny is focused on leading the movement to plant positive seeds so we can all reap an abundant harvest.
Likkle Lightning to open up for Warrior King in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (@likklelightning)
Likkle Lightning has just been confirmed as the opening act for Warrior King’s concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show takes place this Thursday, May 21st at Varsity Theatre (3353 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA), starting time is 9pm sharp.
Likkle Lightning will be doing a series of performances across the U.S.A over the coming weeks. Some shows will be done independently as a solo act while others will be opening up for established Jamaican Reggae artists.
As he gets ready to release his first full length studio album, Lightning is in 100% promo mode, with his intention being to widen his fan base while simultaneously getting Reggae lovers familiar with his music. POPS JABU promises to deliver on the Aarhus Reggae Festival (@PopsJabu @jam_yard)
Pops Jabu, a member of the Stick n Fire and Junk Yard Family, is a musical maestro in his own right! As he gears up for his performance on Aarhus’ first two days Reggae Festival (on June 19th and 20th), fans of this amazing talent can expect an energetic and unforgettable performance.
For those not familiar with Pops Jabu, he has already achieved double platinum and gold record status by way of the following projects; Alis Riddim by Fresh I and Pharfar, Tip-Toe Big-Bands Big-Step album and the current EP with Blackout JA. Pops Jabu is an international entertainer who has performed in countries like London, Brixton, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Germany, Monaco, Poland and Paris with cut “n” move (a pop group which he was a member of). He has also worked on two other major festivals in Denmark; Roskilde and Skanderborg.
On the Reggae scene, Pops Jabu has performed with the late Danish Dancehall Sensation Natajsa and have opened up for notable Jamaican acts such as; Jimmy Cliff, The Congos, Lee Scratch Perry, Omar Perry, Anthony B and Horace Andy.
In addition to his career as an artist, he is also a Math and English teacher, youth motivator, lead vocalist and director of his own band.
